A social and competitive badminton club, suitable for all levels, in Sherborne, Dorset
We meet at Gryphon School in Sherborne, on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings (8.00pm-10.00pm).
We are a club that prides itself on being social, competitive and open to all abilities, from beginners to county players. We have around 60 members that attend across the 3 nights we meet.
We play with feather shuttles.
We compete in the local West Dorset mixed league, the South East Somerset Mixed and Levels league and we’re always entering teams into open tournaments. We also run a few inter-club tournaments which are always good fun.
A number of our players are qualified badminton coaches, so there’s always the availability of coaching too, so you have no excuse!

If you’re looking for a new club, or just to give badminton a go, drop us a message.
We ask all newcomers to join us on a Monday, for your first visit, as this is when we have the most court space, committee members and we can give you a proper introduction to the club, however, we are currently near/at capacity for some nights, so please contact us before turning up, otherwise you will get turned away.

the cost
Membership
Membership is either pay in advance or pay as you go, whichever suits you best.
Advance payment is currently £70 for a 3 month period
Pay as you go is currently £7 per night
Note: Advance payment entitles you to play twice a week, on your choice of nights.
